How would you describe your life? Are you happy and fulfilled? Do you jump out of bed and whistle to work?

Life is exactly what you believe it is. If you believe the world is a miserable place then every experience you have will confirm that you are right but the reverse is true also. Like going to gym we all have to exercise our happiness muscle and do it everyday.

I had the privilege to hear Sean Stephenson speak this week and his message is incredibly powerful. Many of us say we want something for our lives but we add a “but” to the sentence. I’d like to do that “but” I am too old, tired, don’t know how, can’t because of the kids, my finances, or my job. Sean reminds us that if he can figure out how to do it then so can you! You can find happiness, fulfillment, and peace if you choose to believe it.

It is time to get off your “butt” and create the life you were meant to live. Here are a few tools to get you moving:

Affirmations – I am happy, content and fulfilled. (say it until you believe it)

Music- Listen to your favorite tunes first thing in the morning.

Happiness Partner- (this can be your coach) Someone who is going to lift you up during challenging times and hold you accountable.

Reading- Just a few pages of inspiration can change your mood instantly. I highly recommend Sean’s book “Get off Your Butt”.

LOL- set aside 2-3 minutes everyday to laugh out loud everyday even if you don’t feel like it (the world’s best medicine).

Anything worth having is worth working for. At the end of the day (or your life) you ultimately choose your own destiny…just ask Sean.

Wishing you Success, Wealth and Happiness,

Wendi
