As I write this message for you, I’m turning 62. ✨
Below are 3 generations of life; 40’s,(my niece) 60’s (me) and late 80’s (Mom).
Below are 3 generations of life; 40’s,(my niece) 60’s (me) and late 80’s (Mom).
According to the statistics, the average life span in the US is 77.28 years.
28,130 days
…making for 77 Thanksgiving meals, Christmas holidays of cheer and birthday celebrations.
Some people get a few more or a few less than others.
My Mom beat the averages and got a bonus 11 years [the photo above was taken just 12 days before she passed away, just one week ago].
My Dad had the opposite scenario and was short by 14 years according to the averages, He passed 35 years ago when I was 27.
No one has the crystal ball to know which side of the coin they will fall on.
Yet, here is what I know to be true on my 62nd birthday.
I basically have 15 summers left – [plain and simple] plus or minus a few years on either side of that equation.
…by the way, If you’ve never done the math, I highly recommend you do so.
If changes one’s perspective on the unpredictability and shortness of life.
Yet remember we do have choices.
We can choose to live each year, month, week and day like it could be our very last because one day it will be.
And please note
…Time is our most valuable commodity- NOT money.
Time is so precious. And you can’t ever get it back.
Therefore we MUST use it wisely.
so I ask you, why not…
– Forgive everybody of everything. LET IT ALL GO. People are doing the best they can at their level of awareness.
– Love as much as possible without expecting anything back in return. It’s a boomerang universe anyway. You get more of what you give.
– Be fierce. Try new things. Dare greatly to do the things you’ve been putting off. Don’t wait. Start doing them now.
– By all means, don’t wait any longer to launch your side hustle or your passion project. You can take it slow just hit the “take action” button.
– Book your African safari. Schedule your Napa wine tour. Rent a camper and go on that road trip. There is culture, beauty and so much to see in the world.
I hope this stirs the greatness up inside of you to the next level. Now is the time to leave a legacy of impact and live each day as if it could be the very last.
