Do you consider yourself to be charitable…generous and giving? I would of considered myself to be all of that until recently when I started to do a really close self examination in this area and realized that I have not really been consistent…I hadn’t put into place a systematic approach to “giving”.

Most of us really want to make a difference and often donate to charities, make financial contributions and volunteer when asked but is it enough? Could we do more?  I personally have mentored high school students, contributed to organizations, gone to numerous charity events…and written lots of checks but the truth of the matter is…I have been inconsistent.

I was thinking about this last night and it has been on my mind a lot lately…so I decided to actually add up all of my income over the last 10 years and then calculate my financial donations…was I contributing 10% of my income consistently? The answer was a big fat “no”. We don’t know what we don’t know and now I know.

So now what? Well awareness is the very first step to change…you have to own it. I am now keenly aware and  can make different choices and interesting enough just last night right before going to sleep I decided to take immediate action and make a donation on line (so easy to do these days in a flash).  Now, I am only sharing this with you to make a point and in the future will keep these matters private but something amazing happened this morning. When I woke up this morning I discovered an unexpected pleasant financial surprise…hmmmm…

You guessed it…the Universe  kicked in validating  The “Law of Increase” in a really BIG way. When you give unselfishly, when you believe so passionately that you give before receiving, and have unwavering faith no matter what then things just fall into place… in your personal life, your business and your bank account. So now that I have finished this article I have some more giving to do (and I hope you will join me too).

Wishing you Abundant Health and Wealth,

Wendi

The word “tithe” means “tenth”. For people who tithe (share the tenth), life can become ten times easier and has brought peace, prosperity, and plenty to those who do.
